What should I do first when a livestock shipment arrives?Updated 2 hours ago

  1. Bring the package inside and open the insulated box promptly.
  2. Inspect every bag and photograph any concern before discarding packaging.
  3. Follow the species-specific acclimation instructions and avoid sudden temperature or salinity changes.
  4. Do not pour shipping water into the aquarium.
  5. Use subdued aquarium lighting while new livestock settles.

If an animal is DOA, submit the claim immediately within the applicable coverage window.
